When to go: Anytime.
What`s special: This 4-stars hotel is set in the city centre and has design rooms, excellent restaurant and a sunny terrace. You will enjoy a garden which is located right next to the gardens of the city castle. A jump over a fence is all that it takes to get to the royal court!
Where to enjoy food: Breakfast is in the room rate and you can have a delicious lunch or dinner at the restaurant terrace as well. In the city centre of Ljubljana you will find lots of restaurants too.
Where is it: Capital city of Slovenia has its own international airport – the Ljubljana Joze Pucnik Airport. The second nearest airport is in Austrian Klagenfurt, 89 kilometers far from Ljubljana.
Why go there: The cultural heart of Slovenia offers a castle, a historic downtown rich on baroque buildings and picturesque streets. Ljubljana is one of the smallest capital towns of Europe, everything is close and you will remember all the lovely corners. You have to visit the famous lake Bled or the National park Triglav. During the summer, refuel your energy on the peaceful Slovenian seacoast.
How much is enough: The price is approximately 140 €/night/room for two. In summer it might get more expensive and during the winter the price goes as low as 120 €/night/room for two. If you are living large, the hotel offers higher standard rooms as well.
When I want something different: If you want to save every penny, but do not want to yield your own bathroom and a city centre location, try the B&B Petra Varl Accommodation. The apartment houses Apartments and Rooms Meščanka in the downtown and Al Apartments with a nice view over the city offer similar comfort.
If you prefer a hotel, look for Ahotel or ApartHotel Vila Minka. Both are 3-stars hotels with a pleasant terrace for a reasonable price.
If design hotels are your preference, the 4-stars hotel Vander Urbani Resort with a roof pool may be your best choice.
